ANNOUNCEMENT - RESCHEDULED TO DECEMBER 5, 2021

Postponed from May 8, 2021

ALL DATES SUBJECT TO CHANGE - This performance is rescheduled from an earlier date. All previously purchased tickets are valid for rescheduled performance. This performance was included in the 2019-2020 Season and seating is not modified for socially distanced protocols. If the performance is unable to play on the currently scheduled date due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions, the show will be rescheduled to a later date.

Since the age of 17, Preacher Lawson has been bringing his brand of goofy, high-energy comedy to the stage. Best known as a finalist in season 12 of NBC’s America’s Got Talent, Preacher made a return for America’s Got Talent: The Champions, where he finished 5th place overall. Spending most of his childhood in Memphis, TN, Preacher moved 20 times before the age of 10. Switching schools taught him how to adapt. Everywhere he would go, he would learn about different people and different cultures, but noticed the one universal language everyone had in common was laughter.  Using comedy is how he spoke and warmed up to most people.

He grew as a comedian in Orlando, Florida, and, in 2015, won the title of Funniest Comedian in Florida. He was crowned the winner of the Seattle International Comedy Competition in 2016, and, in 2017, made his TV debut on NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly and appeared on Comedy Dynamic’s Coming To The Stage. He is based in Los Angeles and currently headlines at major comedy clubs, colleges and theaters throughout the country.

With a refreshed lineup and newfound energy, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band remains one of the most accomplished bands in American roots music. Their career breakthrough came in 1970 with “Mr. Bojangles,” and Pop and Country hits “An American Dream,” “Make a Little Magic,” “Modern Day Romance,” and “Fishin’ in the Dark” followed.

Following an extended 50th anniversary tour, the ensemble grew to a six-piece in 2018 for the first time since their early jug band days. The group now includes Jeff Hanna (acoustic/electric guitar), Jimmie Fadden (drums, harmonica), Bob Carpenter (keyboards), Jim Photoglo (bass, acoustic guitar), Ross Holmes (fiddle, mandolin), and Jaime Hanna (acoustic/electric guitar). When all six sing and their voices merge, the harmonies add a powerful new component. And with the father-son pairing of Jeff and Jaime Hanna, the band carries on a country music tradition of blood harmony.

Known as “Southern Rock Royalty” and the “Great American Rock ‘n’ Roll Band,” The Kentucky Headhunters have maintained a longevity most acts can only dream about. With a Grammy® award, CMA Album of the Year award, two CMA Vocal Group of the Year awards, two Top 10 charting albums, and four consecutive Top 40 hits, their international success spans multiple genres. The “Heads” are credited for creating a unique blend of honky-tonk, blues and southern rock that appeals to the toughest music critics and listeners of all kinds.

Getting their start in 1968, brothers Fred and Richard Young and cousins Greg Martin and Anthony Kenny, formed Itchy Brother, which later morphed into The Kentucky Headhunters. As a performer, songwriter and producer, Richard Marx’s nearly three-decade-long career has had innumerable highlights. The Chicago native has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, starting with his self-titled debut which went to #8 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and spawned four Top 5 singles, including the chart-topping “Hold on to the Night” and “Don’t Mean Nothing.” The follow-up, 1989’s Repeat Offender, was even more successful, hitting #1 and going quadruple-platinum with two #1 singles in “Satisfied” and “Right Here Waiting.”

When both Rush Street (with two #1 AC hits in “Keep Coming Back” and “Hazard”) and Paid Vacation (with its #1 AC hit, “Now and Forever”) went platinum, Marx achieved a seven-year string of triumphs that rivaled any in Pop-Rock music history. To this day, he is the only male artist in history to have his first seven singles reach the Top 5 on the Billboard charts.
