The Annie Neeley Band
“ This is a songwriter who is connected to herself, and to the literal and metaphorical places that she calls home.”
— BRYAN WILLISTON (SPILL MAGAZINE)

For over a decade, Neeley and her bass player/husband, Dave Kirkpatrick, have been writing songs on the folkier side of country. Her 2010 debut, Cold Heart Blues, features the type of songwriting that can coax tears from stone. With stylistic references to Hank Williams and Emmylou Harris, Neeley writes with the confidence of someone firmly connected to their roots. Neeley has been all around the Eastern US, playing her songs with a rotating cast of friends and characters. From West Virginia to DC to Nashville and back to the holler again, Neeley has found a way to channel those deep roots into a more raucous version of her original bluegrass with Big Old Moon. (Glide Magazine)

Allan Dale Sizemore
Allan got his first guitar from the trash. Growing up in the hollow of Trout Valley WV, they were hard to come by. His uncle brought it to him, an old Harmony, one string, hole in the back. But, to him, it was a piece of magic. He would sit and fool around on it, picking out melodies. That summer, his Uncle T taught him some banjo chords when Allan would come up to split kindling, carry in water from the old well, mow the grass, whatever needed done. He did that for all his Aunts and Uncles in the valley, and there was always plenty to do. He started working in the hayfields when he was 10, and saved up enough money to buy his own guitar. He sat and played it for hours and hours when he had the time, and wrote his first song when he was 15. He hasn't stopped yet. Songwriting is what he does. Hundreds of songs later, he is still writing and he spent the last year writing many more. The new album "The Quiet Garden" is part of those songs, and part of some songs that were written 30 years ago. The artwork for the album was done by his son Tobias, age 9. Allan hopes to get him started on writing songs soon too. We shall see.

The Kind Thieves
Hailing from the heart of Appalachia, The Kind Thieves are a musical tour de force that is far greater than simply the sum of its parts. With members originating from all over the Southern West Virginia region, the Thieves pull influences from musical genres spanning from classic rock to funk to bluegrass, wrapped up in a jam-band bow that promises a 100% original and mind-blowing live experience every time they perform.

Bennett Walker Wales

Bennett Walker Wales is an artist who’s been around the block, playing shows up and down the coast as an adolescent and starting a successful band in adulthood – and now, he’s turning a new corner.

Born and raised on the Virginia Beach coastline, Wales started playing music along the east coast at fifteen; using songwriting and top-notch guitar skills, he fueled his musical journey which “officially” kicked off with his band Bennett Wales & the Relief. A classic blend of rock & roll and funk, the group is known for their danceable and fun music. Songs like “Dodgy” exemplify the group’s sound perfectly – but also shows how much of a departure Wales’ new chapter is from what he’s been doing so well for so long.

Buffalo Wabs & The Price Hill Hustle

The Cincinnati-based ensemble Buffalo Wabs (as in ‘mobs’) and the Price Hill Hustle can be best described as ‘American’-- from the mountains to Music Row, blues-gospel to traditional country, the Hustle combines parts of the American-born genre catalogue to create an energetic experience every single night.

This four-piece moves from fast-paced, foot-stomping anthems to harmony-laden ballads and traditional dirges of spirit and labor. “The group started around the love of music that moves you,” says drummer/vocalist and band spokesman, Casey Campbell. “The music accompanies the story; and sometimes the music is the story by which we can all connect to one another.”

Corey Lee McQuade

Corey Lee McQuade, the other flatpicking dobro man, carries on the dobro style of Tut Taylor flatpicking the resophonic guitar aka dobro.  He is a singer/songwriter from Lewisburg, WV and currently residing in Athens, WV.  His solo performances include finger picking and flatpicking guitar, flatpicking dobro, and clawhammer banjo.  His original songs are inspired by old time traditional music, local history, and folk singer/songwriters.   Corey currently performs with longtime friend singer/songwriter Paul E Johnson as an Americana duo.

The Mighty Good Times

The Mighty Good Times are a 6-piece Rock n’ Roll/Americana band from Richmond, VA. After a wild, eleven-year run with his band People’s Blues of Richmond, Tim Beavers II decided it was time for a fresh start. PBR (a 3-piece) toured the US feverishly for over a decade landing two appearances at Lockn, an opening slot with ZZ Topp and Gregg Allman at Red Rocks, three sets at Electric Forest, Mountain Music Fest, and several years on the Sweetwater 420 Fest lineup (to name a few).

Tim’s honest songwriting about his battles with love, loss, depression, and addiction have reached people in every corner of America and his rambunctious onstage antics have raised the bar for performers across the country. Now Tim is joining forces with his fire-spinning, piano-playing wife Brittany Beavers, Jonny Powell (guitar) and Tara Dillard (violin) from Richmond favorites ‘The Folly’, and a rock-solid rhythm section comprised of Jake Lawrence and Ryan Bowman from the Virginia-native band Lake Anna.
